Leah's special blend of these tools and techniques is called Energetic Reconstruction Therapy ©.

We are excited to provide a unique blend of age old health care traditions scientifically proven to help facilitate and enhance your bodies natural ability to achieve deep healing and pain relief.  Oriental medicine is practiced all over the world, as it has gained worldwide acceptance and recognition as effective medical treatment. According to the California State Oriental Medical Association: "Over 15 million Americans have turned to it, making it the complementary treatment of choice for Americans everywhere."

The development of Oriental Medicine has spanned centuries. The earliest written history begins 2,500 years ago, and archaeological records suggest the origins of Oriental Medicine go back at least five thousand years.  Being born in an era where the idea of 'germs' was non-existent, the combination of stimulating points on the body, as well as ingesting medicinal herbs, was an ingenious approach to health care!

Here are some of the specific techniques we employ:

Acupuncture / Acupressure:  A method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and to improve functioning. This is done by inserting needles and applying heat or pressure at very precise points.

Acupuncture without Needles:  We Specialize in Non-Needle Insertion Acupuncture Therapy. Instead of using a traditional needle, we use Japanese Needles, Finger Needle, or Shinkiko Style Needling.  This is very gentle and incredibly effective, Non-Needle Insertion Acupuncture harnesses both the practitioner's as well as the client's Bioelectricity or Chi to excite the acupuncture points, increase or decrease energy as needed, and create a frequency that resonates specifically to the individual client's own biological blueprint. This method forms a harmony and vibration that creates deep healing and change in the body, mind and spirit.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM): A broad range of medicine practices sharing common concepts which have been developed in China and are based on a tradition of more than 2,000 years, including various forms of herbal medicine, acupuncture, massage (Tui na), exercise (qigong), and dietary therapy.

Chinese Bodywork / Massage, Tui Na

Japanese Bodywork/Massage, Shiatsu, Sotai

Cupping: this employs a glass or bamboo cup as a suction device to stimulate blood circulation.

Tong Ren Therapy: Developed by Tom Tam, and an integral part of the Tom Tam Healing System, Tong Ren is a form of energy therapy for restoring health and vitality. Tong Ren is based on a belief that disease is related to interruptions, or blockages, in the body's natural flow of chi, neural bioelectricity, blood, or hormones.

Eastern Nutrition & Herbal Medicine

Qi Gong Therapy:  The art of using breath-work, imagery, and gentle exercises to increase one's Qi as well as to restore proper Qi flow within the body.  A wonderful supplements to any health care regimen, as we practice qigong we cultivate the capacity to perceive Qi at all of these different levels – physically, emotionally, and spiritually--to feel ourselves and our world as fluid, and as spacious; as well as the areas that are unmoving, or blocked...often referred to as 'stagnant Qi' verses 'flowing Qi'.

Pan Gu ShenGong: Also called Pan Gu Mystical QiGong, Pan Gu is known as heaven, earth, sun and moon qigong. It's fundamental philosophy is one of love, kindness and charity. Developed by Master Ou, Pan Gu is short and easy to learn, yet yields powerful physical and emotional results. Designed to facilitate optimal Qi absorption into the body, tens of thousands of people around the world have learned and practice Pan Gu Shengong. Attesting to it's vitality, it is amazingly affective at reducing drug and alcohol dependency, and when practiced regularly can also restore balance, harmony and peace of mind. This wonderful practice also empowers the immune system, increasing vitality and life-force. Pan Gu Shengong greatly improves the conditions of heart disease, diabetes, strokes, rheumatoid arthritis, different types of cancer and many chronic diseases.

Tai Chi: The art and science of cultivating vital life-force, or Qi within one's body, is referred to as Tai Chi. These gentle, rhythmic movements stimulate coordination, blood flow, ease joint and muscle pain, reduce tension and anxiety, and stimulate one's immune system.
